The Timbers announced today that they will be hosting US Open Cup play-in game against Chivas USA on March 29 at Merlo Field at the University of Portland.
The site of the game was determined by a coin-flip, and the winner will travel to San Jose to play the Earthquakes in April.
Tickets for the match go on sale Saturday, March 12 at Ticketmaster.
