The Timbers completed their first MLS season undefeated in eight matches as they finished with a 1-1 draw in San Jose against the Earthquakes on Saturday.
Eric Brunner became the seventh different Timber to score this preseason as he put in a cross from Jack Jewsbury in the 52nd minute to give the Timbers a 1-0 lead. San Jose would tie the score in the 68th minute on a penalty kick converted by Chris Wondolowski.
The Timbers finished with 2 wins (over Montreal and Seattle) and 6 draws, scoring 7 goals (all by different players) while giving up 4. The Timbers also recorded four shutouts.
