In what has been a trend lately, the Timbers found themselves down a goal early, then down two goals less than five minutes later. Though a spectacular Darlington Nagbe goal brought the Timbers back to 2-1 down just before the half, the Timbers never found the equalizer and fall 2-1 to Sporting Kansas City.
