The Portland Timbers were not able to protect a 1-0 lead after Kenny Cooper headed in a Rodney Wallace cross in the 24th minute, with Dwayne DeRosario leveling with 15 minutes left, but after a furious final 10 minutes, the Timbers held on for a 1-1 draw going into their season ending match in Salt Lake City this Saturday.
