The Timbers U23’s announced the addition of four more players, with defenders Evyn Hewett and Reed Matte, midfielder John McFarlin and forward Cam Vickers joining the 2010 PDL Champions.
Hewett has played for San Diego State University, and had an assist in a 3-1 win over Oregon State. Matte returns for his second season with the Timbers U23’s, while Vickers played the past four season for division rival Tacoma. McFarlin played for Loyola Marymount University in 2011.

The Timbers also announced the U23’s will host a US Open Cup match at JELD-WEN Field on May 15 against a US Adult Soccer Assocation club, with teh winner going on to face the Carolina RailHawks in Cary, NC on May 22.
