The Timbers U-23 2012 season came to and end on Saturday night in Ventura, California when they would lose in extra time to the host Ventura County Fusion by a 1-0 score.
In the last two matches of the 2012 season, the Timbers had faced the other most recent PDL Champions other than themselves (2010) when the beat the defending champion Kitsap Pumas in the playoffs last week before falling to the 2009 Champion Fusion in the Conference semifinals.
