Major League Soccer today announced the schedule for the upcoming MLS Is Back Tournament, which starts July 8 in Orlando. The Timbers have been placed in a group with the LA Galaxy, Los Angeles FC, and the Houston Dynamo, with each team in the group schedule to face each other for three games in the first round, before the top two teams, and possibly a third group team, advancing to the round of 16.
The Timbers will open play facing the LA Galaxy on July 13 (7:30pm, on FS1), Houston Dynamo on July 18 (5:00pm, on ESPN2), and finish the round against Los Angeles FC on July 23 (7:30pm, on ESPN2).
