MLS announced three more games for each MLS team today. For the Timbers, the three games are:
- Saturday, September 19 at San Jose Earthquakes
- Wednesday, September 23 vs. Seattle Sounders
- Sunday, September 27 at Vancouver Whitecaps
Unusually, the September 27 “road” game will actually be at Providence Park. Because of Covid-19 restrictions, each Canadian team will play one home game at a site in the US, and the Whitecaps game will be at Providence Park vs. the Timbers. Of the three Canadian teams, Vancouver will be the only one facing their American opponent on the visitor’s home field. Montreal will be facing the Philadelphia Union at Red Bull Arena, and Toronto will face the Columbus Crew in Hartford, Connecticut.
