The Timbers played their second straight game in San Jose this week, and after a 1-1 draw on Wednesday, the Timbers exploded for a 6-1 win on Saturday night. Diego Valeri had two goals (including a penalty kick to open the scoring) and goals were added by Jeremy Ebobisse, Yimmi Chara, Julio Cascante, and Jaroslaw Niezgoda. Carlos Fierro had the lone goal for San Jose.
