The Timbers gave up a goal less than two minutes into Saturday night’s match vs Minnesota, and never recovered, losing 1-0 to Minnesota United.
Adrien Hunou tapped easily into an open net off a pass from Franco Fragapane on some very bad Timbers marking about 90 seconds into the match to go down 1-0. Though the Timbers and Minnesota both would have many ideal chances to score through the match, neither team found the net again, and the match ended up with a 1-0 Minnesota win.
I again have to apologize for no photos as I was once again not given photo credentials. With the Oregon Covid restrictions about to be dropped, I hope that will change soon.
