The Timbers played their third match of the week on Saturday at Minnesota United. Despite taking an early lead on a 10th minute goal by Felipe Mora off a feed from Dairon Asprilla, the Timbers would not hold the lead and Minnesota rallied with goals in the 74th minute by Chase Gasper and in the 85th minute by Robin Lod to secure the 2-1 Minnesota win.
