The Portland Timbers are terrible in March, but especially so on the road. After a 4-1 loss in Dallas on Saturday, the Timbers are now 7-17-14 (W-L-D) in March in their MLS era, and 1-14-8 on the road. Their lone win being a 1-0 win in LA against the Galaxy on March 12, 2017.
Jesús Ferreira had a first half hat-track for FC Dallas before the Timbers pulled back a goal early in the second half on a chipped goal by Jaroslaw Niezgoda. But Paul Arriola put the game away for Dallas with a goal in the 77th minute for the 4-1 victory.
