The Portland Timbers officially partned ways with coach Giovanni Savarese today. Gio had managed the club since before the 2018 season and took the club to two MLS Cups (2018, 2021) as well as winning the MLS-Is-Back tournament in 2020.
Miles Joseph will be the interim manager.
