The Portland Thorns were in Seattle to play the Reign, and it turned out to be a very lackluster 0-0 draw.
The match was supposed to be on Paramount+ and CBSSports, but an LPGA match running over meant most fans in Portland could not watch the entire first half as the networks stuck with the golf. The Reign controlled play early but the Thorns started getting more chances late in the half, but never team threatened to score and the match was 0-0 at the break.
Not much changed in the second half, though at least Thorns fans were able to watch, but neither team put a serious shot on goal and it would end up a very listless, 0-0 draw at the end.
